Dr. William Perry: Violet Welsh's second marriage was to Bill Stewart, who operated the Chevrolet Place.

James W. Jenkins: The service entrance was on the left, and a show room was on the right side of the white brick building. New and used cars were located across the street. The arrival of the new models was a big event each fall.

Katherine Ward Rivers Braswell: The first T. V. I ever saw was in the window of the Chevrolet Company. It was in black and white and was very fuzzy.

Elizabeth Ann Gaddy Rivers: I remember that Melvin Campbell worked here when it was the Chevrolet place. The building that stood here was razed around 1990, and today the lot provides parking for Chesterfield Baptist Church.
