Elizabeth Ann Gaddy Rivers: I have forgotten what businesses besides Dunk Martin's liquor store were located here in the mid-century, but in the latter part Walter Burr, Jr. ran a small-appliance repair shop until he retired. This building was recently renovated by the owners, Sammie Copeland and Scott Vickery. It is now the home of Brandi's Ice Cream Shop, and the business is owned by Derrick Wise. |
